iNARTE® Certifed Space & Defense ESD Engineer Training - A Virtual Event for NASA KSC Contractors

Over a 5-day period, the RMV leadership team held a Virtual Training session for NASA Kennedy Space Center (KSC) contractors that support the Agency in support of NASA STD 8739.6.B, Section 7, Military Standards and relevant ANSI/ESD Standards for packaging, handling, long term storage, kitting, transport and repair of ESDS flight hardware on ESD Workstations.

ESD compliance in harsh environments and low RH is key to success for Mission critical programs and projects in which non-traceable technical reports and Industry Standards without vetting have not been proven to meet rigorous requirements for harsh environmental conditions from desert to arctic conditions to the surface of Moon and Mars.

The leading instructor for this course is Bob Vermillion, ESD Technical Authority for the Agency and creator of the iNARTE® Space & Defense ESD Engineer and Technician certified course. Toni Gurga, EE, Senior Member of RMV Technical Staff, lectures with demonstrations on EMC issues and solutions for materials and instruments in harsh environments for the Space & Defense Engineer.

"Trust but Verify" is taught throughout the 5-day course with a hands-on Instrument exam by RMV and a remote exam by Exemplar Global, the 3rd party accreditation body without conflict of interest that sets RMV apart from other organizations to maintain the strictest ethical standards.
