Certified ESD & Product Safety Engineer In 2018, Vermilion was named the ESD Technical Authority for NASA. In 2009, Vermillion was approved to headquarter his ESD Laboratory & Training Center at NASA Ames Research Park. Now, RMV is an internationally recognized organization of SMEs that tests, trains, troubleshoots and provides R&D support for Space & Defense, plus commercial operations, in Subject Matter Expertise from manufacturing to product support for advanced technology solutions.

Doug received a B.E.E.E. degree from Vanderbilt University in 1969 and an M.S.E.E. degree from the California Institute of Technology in 1970.

LTC Ret. US Army Dr. Vermillion is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and has completed fellowship training in Joint Restoration. He is one of the only surgeons in Alaska that performs minimal incision total knee replacements (arthroplasty). He also has a strong background in Sports Medicine.
