ABSTRACT: First to present and first to publish on “Suspect Counterfeit ESD materials and packaging in the DOD Supply Chain,” Bob Vermillion will present on the impact of suspect and non-conforming packaging issues seriously impacting global logistics and materials management today.

The war on counterfeits has made substantial inroads for detection, avoidance and mitigation of suspect counterfeit parts and components in the Aerospace & Defense and Semiconductor supply chains.

Stepping back and taking a fresh look at the escalation of suspect counterfeits in the procurement process for product selection, Bob Vermillion will discuss the value of periodic verification of materials and packaging beyond 1st Article and the consequences of not having a program in place. Bob will provide demonstrations with examples for solutions that one could implement for Incoming Inspection, Materials Handling and long-term storage of products.
