Upon nomination by Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems (NGAS), RMV Technology Group, a NASA Industry Partner and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), was chosen by the MSFC Joint Counseling Session as one of two finalists to present before the MPCSC on 13 June 2017.
In support of NASA, the MPCSC is led by David Brock, Director, MSFC Small Business Office and is comprised of over 50 large business organizations and non-profits, whose mission is to strengthen supplier diversity across all prime contracts with maximum subcontracting opportunities.
Presented by Renee Mitchell, President of RMV Technology Group, an engineering capabilities overview started with the evolution of one core capability (541380) in a home-based startup to become the largest and most advanced ESD Testing Laboratory & Training Center on a NASA site today with up to six NAICS Codes for Aerospace Mission Support.
Unique capabilities include the recent groundbreaking work on CubeSat materials validation, Test and Evaluation of very lightweight conductive polymers for future 3D manufacturing in lunar environments, plus the ongoing "Hands On" ESD & Suspect Counterfeit Training for Industry & Government clients (DoD, DOE, Academia and Public Utilities).
First to present and publish on Suspect Counterfeit or Non-Compliant ESD Materials and Packaging in the DoD Supply Chain, Bob Vermillion will be teaching a workshop this fall on behalf of the Government Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP) that will be held in Tysons Corner, Virginia and may be of particular interest to NASA and DoD prime contractors, suppliers and distributors.
The Venue for the GIDEP Training Event will be LMI, Tysons Corner, Virginia from October 24-26, 2017, and is open to GIDEP members only. For those that are not current members, or want to join GIDEP, please visit the website by clicking on the logo to the left or call (951)898-3207 for more information.
In the photo right, a recent Trade Show Exhibit featured an Offshore Supplier of the "Cordless Wriststrap."
Said product was tested and evaluated by two NASA sites in collaboration with RMV Technology Group LLC, a NASA Industry Partner.
A NASA Advisory was released in May 2017 on the "Cordless Wriststrap" and can also be found on the GIDEP Website for members only.
