By special invitation from Sandia National Laboratory, Bob Vermillion,  ESD Technology Expert, has been invited to teach on the opening day of the Annual EFCOG Supply Chain Conference. 

The highly interactive and "hands on" tech-driven session will provide valuable insight into the requirement for Incoming Inspectino of Suspect Counterfeit and Non-Compliant Items due to the ever developing trend of imported materials, products and electronic parts that are damaged or destroyed in use by DOE Contractors that manage  an Inventory of usable items for the maintenance and sustainability of nuclear  power plants across the USA.  

By special invitation from Sandia National Laboratory, Bob Vermillion,  ESD Technology Expert, has been invited to teach on the first day of the Annual EFCOG Supply Chain Conference. 

The highly interactive and "hands on" tech-driven session will provide valuable insight into the trends and new developments challenging the Department of Energy Contractors that manage  an Inventory of electronic components for the maintenance and sustainability of DOE power plants across the USA.  

In a rare phone call  from the Pentagon, Bob Vermillion was personally asked to present an updated briefing on the criticality of ESD packaging, storage and distribution for current and future use by the USMC. 

This one week conference will be held the week of February 4th  and is restricted to the USMC only.

Due to the fact that most "consumables" used for the protection of EEE devices are coming from mainland China only adds to the  risk factor of purchasing "grey" products that cost less upfront but will damage or destroy a very sensitive EEE part in the assembly process or in the field.

The briefing created quite a bit of interest among the group and Mr. Vermillion has been invited to speak again in 2019 for the Annual DOE Event that is soon to be announced.
